If hypocrisy were a person, it would be MSNBC media activist Joy Reid. Less than one week after savaging Republicans for supposedly “lifting up men” facing sexual harassment allegations, she showed her commitment to #MeToo by lifting up men who faced sexual harassment allegations.

On Wednesday evening, Reid had former Democratic Sen. Al Franken on her show to complain about Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) for refusing to budge on their support for keeping the filibuster. Senate Democrats have been pushing for the removal of the filibuster to make it easier to ram through radical legislation championed by President Joe Biden.

Franken was forced to resign from his Senate seat in 2018 after multiple women accused him of inappropriately touching them. His appearance came after Reid castigated Republicans during a presentation of a documentary titled: “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words.”

“Clarence Thomas was credibly accused by Anita Hill of sexual harassment. And there was a second alleged victim, Sukari Hardnett, who was not allowed to testify,” Reid tweeted. “Clarence is no hero. His victims are no bullies. Why do so many Republicans lift up men who sexually harass women??”

“I believed Anita Hill then, and I believe her now. And I believe Sukari Hardnett, too,” the media activist added.

She then posted a Twitter thread bringing up sexual misconduct allegations against Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and former President Donald Trump.

“Two out of the six Republicans on the Supreme Court — that’s 1/3 — have been credibly accused of sexual misconduct. Not to mention the venal former president/GOP cult leader who faces some 2-dozen accusations. Are these your kings, Republicans?” she asked. “It’s such a strange, strange political party…”

But wait
