China is not our friend.  The US and its Western allies are finally starting to come around to that fact. For those who haven’t, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a video earlier today that should be required viewing:

Make no mistake — these are official Twitter and YouTube accounts for the Chinese government, and the person delivering the statement is Wang Wenbin, the Official Spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry and member of the Chinese Communist Party. The allegation is that the United States and Japan worked together on continuing “germ warfare” programs that the Japanese were pursuing during World War II. The Spokesman asks:

The Spokesman then claims Gordan’s reporting should be ignored because Gordan created false stories for the New York Times in 2002 supporting the Bush Administration’s claims that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, which led to the US invasion of Iraq.

Pressure has been building on China and the CCP this week as the scientific community is backing away from earlier positions staked out with certainty that the COVID-19 virus developed naturally and is not the result of work done in the Wuhan lab. The Spokesman refers back
