Over the course of the last month and a half, RedState has undertaken some of the most in-depth reporting on the COVID-19 pandemic origins of any media organization out there. A central figure to that reporting has been Peter Daszak. Daszak, as you may remember, is the President of EcoHealth Alliance, who has been funneling funding from the NIH and other US Government agencies to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for the last two decades, and consummate Chinese-apologist. It seemed wherever you turned in this story, there was Daszak, most recently appearing on the WHO team that conducted an investigation into the Wuhan lab in February of this year. During the early parts of the pandemic, instead of using all of his research for the purposes which he said intended, Daszak launched an offensive against lab-leak theorists, weaponizing the media and social media giants against those who dared to question the origins of a virus that has caused only 4,636 total deaths to date in the country of origin, (as compared to 617,443 in the US).
It now appears that the bats are coming home to roost.
Lancet, the science journal which published Daszak’s first defense of the Wuhan Lab, organized a commission of leading experts in their field (7 of the 12 were signers of the Daszak organized Lancet Letter), to investigate the origins of COVID-19.
RedState’s reporting on the origins of COVID-19 has gotten Daszak the boot from the Lancet commission.
No word on whether or not the other 6, all of whom had made up their minds on the origin of COVID-19 in January 2020, will continue to serve on the commission. Of the remaining 6, all of them are Daszak loyalists. Many media organizations are attempting to take credit for this development, however, those same organizations don’t seem to mention the majority of the members of the remaining commission and their loyalty to the man who may potentially be partially responsible for the deaths of more than three and a half million people.
We here at RedState will continue reporting on the matter until which
