President Donald Trump held a rally in Sarasota, Florida, tonight, and the numbers were just massive. They’d started lining up by the thousands, hours before the event. Despite the heat and rain, they hung in there, Trump joked.

Trump first asked for a moment of silence for those who had died in the Surfside building collapse.

He spoke about the importance of the Independence Day weekend, and how much everything was being upended by the Democrats.

“In just five months, the Biden administration has launched an all out assault on everything we cherish and we value under Joe Biden and the left.”

Trump praised the police and blasted the Democratic effort to defund the police. He also called out the most recent lie of the Biden team to blame the Republicans for defunding the police.

“All law enforcement I want you to know that the American people thank you, they believe in you, they love you, they respect you, they need you,” Trump said. “And we are going to fight for you.

“Law enforcement’s been treated very badly, but we love you. I just met a lot of them back stage. I’ll tell you, these are great people.”

He also took on Critical Race Theory.
